What Is Reported Attack Page or Reported Attack Site?
Google has an automatic system which searches for websites on which malicious content or, activity is detected and creates a blacklist based on their findings. A user attempting to access a blacklisted site can be redirected to an “interstitial page” (the “Reported Attack Site!” page) or, ( the “The site ahead contains malware”) based on which browser you are using – Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome
Note: If you have already added the website in Google Webmaster Tools, Google also attempts to notify the owner of any site it adds to its blacklist.
Note: This browser based warning will only happen in few browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and some versions of Safari, because only these web browsers have a relationship with Google. Not all browsers will display the warning page.
How Do We Fix The Reported Attack Page or Reported Attack Site? (How To Fix Hacked Website)
You will need to get a security scan of your site with the help of your webmaster, web security company (Like: SiteLock) then request Google to delist your account via Google Web Master Tools / Google Search Console.
To fix the Google Attack page:
- Scan your website with Sucuri SiteCheck website scanner, which will check the website for known malware, blacklisting status, website errors, and out-of-date software: https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/
- Fix the security issues on your website, either by having it scanned and fixed, or by restoring the site from backup to remove malware.
- Once your site is cleaned and secured, contact Google to request delisting via Google Webmaster Tools / Google Search Console.

You can submit a request for review by Google by following the steps below.
- Sign into Webmaster Tools with your Google account.
- On the dashboard, select the site you want reviewed.
- On the Overview page or, Click Security Issues Tab, Tick I have fixed these issues and click Request a review and follow the instructions.
