Kik Messenger is a popular IM service, especially among younger generations with its simple, straight forward design. But have you ever wanted to know why someone is not answering your messages? Maybe they’ve blocked you or maybe they’ve simply changed their Kik user name. Either way, the only way to find out for sure is by trying one of these methods.
If your messages are going through but the other person is not replying, they may have blocked you. Try sending them a message from a different account. If they don’t reply to that message either, it’s likely that you’ve been blocked.
Another way to tell if someone has blocked you on Kik Messenger is to try sending them a picture. If you get the “file not found” message, it’s likely that they’ve blocked you.
Lastly, if you know the person’s Kik user name, you can type it into the search bar to see if they are still active on Kik Messenger. If their account does not show up in the search results or if their profile is set to private, it’s likely that you’ve been blocked.
