Best low budget smartphone
The most awaited entry-level phone, Nokia 2.4 has officially been released in Nepal.
The handsets look promising and stylish. The display, performance, memory, camera, battery, design, extra features, price and availability in Nepal are some of the topics that we will cover in this blog.
Design and Display
Unlike other entry-level phones, Nokia 2.4 doesn’t have a plastic chassis instead it uses a metal body along with a polycarbonate shell.
This increases the toughness of the smartphone and the 3D Nano textured cover will make it comfortable for you to hold the mobile.
On the rear side, there are two cameras followed by a flash. Just under them, lies a round fingerprint sensor for easily unlocking the phone.
Nokia 2.4 has a dimension of 165.9 x 76.3 x 8.7 mm and weighs only about 195g. Likewise, you can choose from three stylish color options: Fjord, Dusk and Charcoal.
Other than that, Nokia 2.4 comes with a 6.5 inch HD+ full display. Say bye bye to Ugly bezels because this phone features a small selfie notch to provide more screen size.
In addition, there is Nokia branding on the phone’s dock.
Performance and Memory
It is packed with Mediatek Helio P22 Octa core 2.0 Ghz processor. This combined with a GPU of PowerVR GE8320 will help the phone to perform tasks in a flash.

The device is available in two models. The base and top variant have 2GB and 3GB of RAM with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage respectively. For both the memory configurations, the storage can be stretched up to 512GB.
Camera and Modes
The smartphone is mounted with a 5MP camera on the front with f/2.4 aperture. Similarly, the rear side is a home to wide camera of 13MP and 2MP of depth camera. This setup can record high quality 1080p videos at 30fps.
Nokia 2.4 also features a night mode where one can take detailed pictures even in the dark.
This was made possible due to revolutionary image fusion and exposure stacking technology.
In addition to portrait mode, the phone also has a portrait editor which enables a user to refocus, blur and edit even after taking the picture.
Battery
The Li-Po 4500 mAh battery featured in Nokia 2.4 is quite impressive. This non removable battery can power the phone for 48 hours with a single charge, says the company.
To keep the battery awake for a longer time, Nokia 2.4 uses AI-assisted Adaptive Battery feature. It automatically identifies the app that you use the most and draws the power only to those apps.
Additional features
Nokia 2.4 takes care of your security and privacy so it uses quick and easy fingerprint and AI face unlock systems. This way your phone stays only yours.
Google assistant comes in handy while multitasking. Nokia 2.4 uses this feature in order to make it easier for users to create lists, manage tasks, call someone, type a text, get directions and many more after one press of the button.
