Realme is one of the top smartphone manufacturing brands. Even though it sells expensive smartphones, the Realme C11 is a part of the company’s ultra-budget segment.
That means C11 offers the same brand quality, trustworthy hardware and greater specs but at an affordable price.
Yet we tested the phone to find out if it is really worth our money. So here’s our review of the Realme C11 along with its price in Nepal.
Design and Display
At first glance, the Realme C11 seems identical to iphone11. The only difference is that C11 has a dual camera setup on the back.
The polycarbonate body is not cheap at all and gives a premium feel. The mint green and pepper grey color options along with the Realme branding on the back acts as cherry on top of the cake.
The front of the device has a small notch, which is a home for the selfie camera, and a thick chin.
The selfie camera can easily detect faces and Realme C11 also uses a face unlock system in order to protect the device.
Similarly, there lies a 3.5mm audio jack, speaker grill, and micro USB charging port at the bottom of the device.
The right hand side consists of volume and power buttons whereas the left is a home to 3-Card slot. Also, the rugged design lets a user hold C11 comfortably on hand.
The Realme C11 comes with 6.5 inches display and a screen-to-body ratio of 81.7%. This is the biggest display that an entry-level smartphone can offer.
The IPS LCD display of 720 x 1560 pixels is covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ to protect it from small bumps and scratches.
Performance and Memory
The Realme C11 is powered by MediaTeck Helio G35 processor which can clock up to 2.3GHz.
This solid Octa-core 64bits processor uses 12nm technology and can handle heavy workload like magic, or at least that’s what the company claims.
Moreover, C11 uses PowerVR GE8320 GPU for stretching the gaming experience.
The smartphone is available in two storage variants. While the lowest one comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM, the highest model packs 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
However, In both the designs, you can expand the external memory to 256GB using a microSD card.
Camera and Modes
Like said earlier, there are two AI cameras, on the rear, and a LED flash. The 13MP primary and 2MP depth cameras have aperture of f/2.2 and f/2.4 respectively.
It also has a PDAF feature that automatically adjusts the focus in no time. The 5MP selfie camera is 27mm wide and has an aperture value of f/2.4.
Not only high resolution pictures, the Realme C11 can also record 1080p videos at 30fps.
The Realme C11 also uses portrait mode to create sharp focused photos with a blurred background.
We were more impressed by the Super Nightscape Mode as citylights looked stunning when taken photographs in this mode.
There are few more photography modes and functions like AI Beauty, Filter Mode, HDR, Panoramic View, Timelapse, Slo-mo and Expert Mode.
One thing we noticed was that the closeup shots were better than the image captured from a distance.
Pictures taken in the night or dark environment also turned out to be okay. Altogether, Realme C11 has a good camera and it performed well on our camera test.
Battery
The Realme C11 works on a Li-Po 5000 mAh non-removable battery. The company advertises that this super battery can stand for 40-days.
As written on the Realme’s official site, the battery can run for 12.1 hours while gaming, 21.6 hours of continuous watching movies and 31.9 hours of call.
We strongly believe that these claims are true because in our battery running test, the Realme C11 worked for almost a day without needing to charge.
This handset supports 10W of charging and takes just shy off 3 hours to fully charge.
