Samsung Galaxy Book Odyssey Review
The Galaxy Book Odyssey has a striking design. It is available in Mystic Black and unlike other Samsung laptops, this device has a unique cover logo which gives it a standout look.
The Galaxy Book Odyssey is specially designed in a way so that you can expand the memory or storage. As per some rumours, it ships with extra PCie slots and SO-DIMM which allows you to upgrade SSD or change the RAM as per your need. The device ships with a fingerprint scanner integrated within its power button which is being more common in high-end laptops.
We think Odyssey is a perfect fit for those who want a portable laptop that can handle even heavy games. The device also comes with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.1 wireless connectivity options and has a Dolby Atmos audio system. There are plenty of port connections in Galaxy Book Odyssey: HDMI, 2x USB Type-C, 3x USB 3.2, Micro SD and HP/Mic.
It comes with a large 15.6 inch full-HD TFT LCD screen. This is a pretty powerful display that can take care of all the videos, games or images that you throw at it. Even though The Galaxy Book Odyssey is more expensive than the Galaxy Book Pro series, its screen is not as impressive as the latter. The reason for this decision might be cost reduction.
It is powered by an 11th-generation Intel Core H series processor. The Odyssey is able to handle heavy games with smooth experience, thanks to Nvidia’s newest RTX 3050/3050 Ti GPUs. Other than this, the company has not provided much information about its performance.
With such a powerful processor and GPU, it is obvious that the device will heat enormously. So, Odyssey has an enhanced cooling system to dissipate heat properly.

Some reports suggest that Galaxy Book Odyssey will be launched with 8, 16 or 32 GB DDR4x RAM. Furthermore, there will be at most 2TB of changeable and expandable SSD storage enabling you to store thousands of photos and files, hundreds of movies and games.
If a device is marketed as a gaming laptop then it should have a powerful battery. Samsung has given a powerful 83WHr battery with a fast charging support to the galaxy book odyssey. It can easily be recharged using the 135W USB Type-C charger.
