What are Quiet Hours in Windows 10?
Quiet Hour is a new feature in Windows that has been designed to help you get the sleep you need. If your phone or PC alerts you while Quiet Hours are on, they will pop up as notifications without any sounds or vibrations. You can choose when and for how long Quiet Hours should be active from the Action Center. It’s easy to turn this feature off if it doesn’t work well with your schedule.
To enable Quiet Hours:
-Open the Action Center by clicking on the notification icon in the taskbar (or pressing Win+A).
-Click on “Quiet hours” to open its settings.
-Here, you can decide when and for how long you want Quiet Hours to be active.
-To turn it off, just set the end time to “Never.”
You can also enable or disable Quiet Hours by clicking on the Action Center’s quick actions button (the three lines in the bottom right corner) and then clicking on “Quiet hours.”
If you have an Xbox One, you can also use Quiet Hours to get some peace and quiet. When your console is in standby mode, Quiet Hours will automatically be turned on. To turn this off, open Settings > System > Power & startup > “Conserve power during quiet hours.” Here, you can choose whether or not to have your Xbox One go into standby mode during Quiet Hours.

What Happens When You Leave a Quiet Hour Session?
-If you have an Xbox One, your console will automatically go into standby mode.
-On Windows Phone and on PC, Quiet Hours becomes active again after the period of time that you set in its settings has passed.
-When this happens, all notifications (including alarms) are turned back on until the next scheduled quiet hour session begins.
Turning Off or Disabling Quiet Hours
-To turn off, just set the end time to “Never.”
-You can also enable or disable Quiet Hours by clicking on the Action Center’s quick actions button (the three lines in the bottom right corner) and then clicking on “Quiet hours.”
-If you have an Xbox One console, you can find out if it is enabled for this feature here: Settings > System > Power & startup > “Conserve power during quiet hours.”
Here, you can decide whether or not your Xbox One from Microsoft should go into standby mode while Quiet Hours are active.
